Fast forward two weeks and you’re staring at twenty different samples taped to your wall. Which one is right...there are SO. MANY. OPTIONS. You just want to paint the room so when you walk in you feel relaxed. But, how do you know if you’ve made the right choice?

Introducing the Perfect Paint Package

Working together virtually we’ll talk through how you want to feel when you are in your room, what colors you surround yourself with in other parts of your life, and what your existing furniture and art look like. Based on this discovery, Hetzke Design Group will select the perfect paint for your room—including trim and ceiling colors—and provide you with a plan for getting that paint on the walls.

• A listing of all paint selections 
• A plan to show you where each of those paint colors go

Here’s How it Works

We spend time talking about you and your room:

• What kind of design makes you happy—what’s filling your Pinterest boards
• What colors do you go to in your art, wardrobe, etc.
• What does your existing furniture look like

We develop a color palette board so you can see how all the colors will work together. And, you’ll get an outline you can use—or hand to the painter—to make sure the exact grade, finish, and color of paint is put on the correct location. 

Seriously, it will be that easy. We’ll create the plan with you and for you. 

Who This is For

People who are tired of looking at a gazillion paint samples and agonizing over the decision and just want their room to be painted already.

Who This isn’t For

People who aren’t ready to commit to creating and living in their dream room.  We do this work virtually—without stepping into your home—but if that doesn’t jive with your sensibilities, then we’re not the right design company for you.

I have existing furniture. 

Great! We love that! It helps to bring out your personality and add layers to the design. We’ll make sure the paint palette we create for you works with your current furniture and art. 

I don’t know what my design personality is. 

No problem! We spend time talking with you to uncover what design style makes you the happiest. Then we use this information to inform the paint palette we pull together for you. 

How Much Does it Cost

The Perfect Paint Package is $350. We’ll give you the confidence to walk into that paint store and buy the right paint the first time.  We promise-when your room is painted you’ll never want to leave it.

Maybe you made a couple purchases—a sofa and chairs, or maybe the dining room table and chairs—but when you enter the room you just feel like something is missing. And, you have no idea how to take it from just there to WOW!

Introducing the Shopping List Package

We’ll come to your house and spend time with you in the room in question. We’ll get to know you and the look you want for the room. After spending up to 2 hours with you exploring your inspiration images and getting all the details about your room. Then we’ll go back to our office and scour all our sources and retailers to come up with a shopping list of items that will finish your room. This list will allow you to add to your room at your own pace and ensure that at the conclusion the room goes from underwhelming to your favorite room in the house. 

Here’s How it Works

-An up to 2 hour in-home consultation

-A shopping list of all the items needed to complete your room—including where to buy each item

-A plan to show you where each item goes

-A 3D rendering to show you what your room will look like with all the items in place

-A presentation meeting (up to 1 hour) to make sure you understand the list and plan and to answer any questions

-We provide a comprehensive list for purchasing the pieces you need to create the perfect room and foolproof plan for placing those pieces in the room just so to get the look you desire

Here’s How it Works

We come to your house and spend time—up to 2 hours—talking with you about your lifestyle and your room:

-What kind of design makes you happy (what’s filling your Pinterest boards or in your favorite home and design magazine)

-How does the space need to function to support your family and lifestyle

-What do you already have and how will that be incorporated into the design

We also spend some time taking measurements and photos of the room.

Once we have that information, we head back to the office and create a detailed list of the pieces you need to complete your room. This list contains the exact particulars of each piece—finish color, fabric, size, etc.—and where to purchase the piece (we’ll even include the URL if this can be purchased from an online retailer). We’ll also work up a series of drawings to show you where to place everything once you’ve purchased it. These drawings include a floor plan, any relevant elevations, and a 3D color rendering so you can see what it will look like and where everything goes.  

Once we have the package pulled together we’ll present the List and drawings to you and answer questions. All you have to do is buy the stuff and have fun putting it in place when it arrives! Super easy! 

Who This Is For

This is for folks who have a design in mind but don’t know where to go to get the pieces or who don’t have the time to spend going from store to store either in person or online.  

Who This Isn’t For

This isn’t for people who just need one or two items. It’s also not for people who don’t want to do the purchasing after receiving the package from us—we offer other services that include purchasing.

But, What About...

I have existing furniture or accessories I want to keep.

Great! We love that! It helps to bring out your personality and adds layers to the design. We’ll make sure the design concept works with items you want to use in the design.

I don’t know what my design personality is.

No problem! We spend time talking with you to uncover what design style makes you tick. Then we use this information to inform the items that go on the shopping list.  

I don’t know what my budget is.

We have a secret formula to help you figure this out. We will spend about 15 minutes going through this formula with you to determine what you’re comfortable spending in your room. Hey, it’s your money. And, we think good design can be found at any price point.  

How Much Does It Cost

The Shopping List Package is $850. We’ll ensure that you have a comprehensive list of all the pieces you need in order to achieve the design of your dreams. And, we’ll give you all the details to ensure you can quickly and easily purchase the pieces and place them in your room.

We develop a plan with a few key pieces. To make sure we’re headed in the right direction, we touch base. Once you’re comfortable with the direction of the project, we get back to work developing the full design.  We present this design to you and then document the full plan and instructions for executing your room in a beautiful book that keeps all this information accessible and organized. 

Seriously, it will be that easy. We’ll create the plan with you and for you.

People in the Northern Virginia area who are tired of looking at great design all around them and are ready to have a fabulous room of their own. 

Note: If you are considering redecorating multiple rooms at once or a kitchen or bath renovation, please contact us directly as these projects are more intensive and we want to make sure you’re getting the best value for your money.

No problem. We will work within the product budget you are comfortable with. 

I don’t know what my product budget is.

We can help you determine your budget in as little as 10-15 minutes at the beginning of your project. 

I have existing pieces I want to reuse. 

Great! We love that! It helps to bring out your personality and add layers to the design. We’ll make every effort to incorporate as many of your existing pieces as absolutely possible. 

How Much Does it Cost

The Uniquely You Design Package is $2,000. We will stop the overwhelm and help you make sense of your design personality and product budget before we get the ball rolling. Then we’ll create a design plan that is uniquely you and ensures your room works for you.
